Prelude I | 22x22cm

My black-and-white drawings are studies created as preparation for larger oil paintings, which is why they are named Prelude. Using charcoal and graphite pencil, I capture the essence and details of animals directly on gray paper. These drawings help me to quickly observe and understand the forms, movements, and characteristic features of the animals. They are an essential part of my creative process and offer a unique glimpse into the first steps of my art. These drawings are now available for purchase, for anyone who wants to own a piece of this process.

Presentation:
The drawing comes with a white mount (6.5 cm wide). However, you can also choose to have it fully framed. In that case, the drawing will be carefully framed with the white mount in a stylish black frame (5 cm wide). The total size of the artwork, when framed, is 42 x 42 cm. The frame is fitted with high-quality museum glass: Tru Vue Optimum Museum Acrylic Glass, the same glass used by the Rijksmuseum. An added benefit is that this glass ensures the artwork can be shipped safely.

The drawing will be securely packaged for shipping.
