Every portrait is carefully drawn with pencil on high-quality paper or painted with oil paint on canvas.
In both cases, the result is a lifelike and heartwarming tribute to your loyal friend.
If you choose a pencil-drawn portrait, I create it using a special technique on premium paper, complemented by a matching (off-)white mat measuring 6.5 cm all around. You can also opt to have the portrait framed in a beautiful oak frame, making it ready to hang. The frame profile is 2 cm wide and 4 cm deep and is fitted with high-quality museum glass, providing both protection and a stunning presentation of the artwork.
If you choose an oil painting on canvas, the portrait is created layer by layer, resulting in a piece that is rich in detail and depth. It’s a time-intensive process, but the results are more than worth it. The vibrant colors and lifelike textures bring your pet to life. Thanks to the larger canvas sizes available with oil paint, the result is not just a portrait, but a statement piece – a work of art that will captivate and enhance any room. The oil paintings are framed in an elegant black float frame.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simply fill out the form below, and I’ll get in touch with you as soon as possible to schedule your pet’s portrait.
No need to worry—your furry friend won’t have to sit still for hours in my studio! All I need are several high-quality photos of your pet. The more, the better! This allows me to observe them from different angles and capture every unique detail. Along with the photos, I’d love to hear a short (or long!) story about what makes your pet special to you. Tell me about their personality, any fun stories, and any special features or markings I should be sure to include. This helps me go beyond just creating a portrait of any dog or cat, and instead, capture the true essence of your beloved companion.
Once I have your photos and story, I’ll begin working in my studio. As soon as the portrait is nearly finished and I’m happy with the result, I’ll send you photos for your approval. Once you’re completely satisfied, the portrait will be framed and ready to go home.
You can either pick up your portrait from my studio, or I can ship it to you. (world wide)
After our initial contact and once we’ve scheduled the portrait, I ask for a 25% deposit to confirm the booking. The remaining balance is only due after the portrait is completed and you’re 100% happy with it—just before pick-up or shipping.
